14.5 Litre Stove Top Craft Ale Home Brew Kits

Always wanted to try brewing your own fine craft ale, but never had the time or space?

We did too.  So we researched and developed a groundbreaking new approach to all grain home brewing.  This resulted in a fantastic set of equipment that packs away into a sturdy cardboard box, small enough to easily fit on the shelf of a standard kitchen unit.

The equipment facilitates an extremely efficient brewing process that can produce delicious all grain craft ale in just over half the time taken by a traditional home brew set up.

By using your kitchen hob as a heat source you save the expense of, and space taken up by, a traditional boiler.

On realising how great this kit was at turning out great craft ale, we devised recipes for 3 of our favourite styles of beer, these being a well hopped pale ale, a red IPA and a chocolate stout.  These tried and tested recipes give awesome results every time.   We have several more recipes in development at the moment including a strong Saison, a classic brown ale and a mild.  Watch this space!

At Big Ed's we focus on using the best and freshest ingredients from the UK and further afield.  We enjoy beer in all its forms.  We love deep malty flavours and high hop notes.  We try to be adventurous and un-constrained by tradition.  We won’t hesitate to pair New World hops with classic English malts in the pursuit of the perfect beer.

Wherever possible the components of our kits are manufactured in the UK.  The brew bags are hand-made in Yorkshire and the insulating blankets are made from British sheep's wool.

Our instructions are written so that the complete novice can understand and use them to create fine craft ale. All brewing terms are explained and jargon is kept to a minimum. We will help you to understand basic brewing terminology, but you can create brilliant beer whether you know what wort is or not!

Developing our kits and ingredient packs has been a real adventure. Buy a kit and join us on our intoxicating journey.
